Marcy Farenbaugh
A native Californian, Marcy was born in Long Beach raised in Westminster and Huntington Beach. While attending Orange Coast College, Marcy pursued a career in the Escrow Industry beginning in 1976. In 1983 Marcy moved to Temecula and opened Rosewood Escrow Corporation. A finalist in the 1991 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, Marcy enjoyed growing a thriving, successful business to the largest escrow operation in the Temecula Valley, with the largest market share and sold the company in 1993 to pursue other interests.
Having served on the Board of Directors of many local volunteer organizations, including Sharp HealthCare Murrieta, Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Rancho-Temecula-Murrieta Association of Realtors, Business & Professional Women to name a few, Marcy has always believed in “giving back” to the community. Since arriving in the area she has been a “hands-on” volunteer in more than a dozen other local organizations* and was also nominated for Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year” in 2003.
Currently pursuing her passion of serving others, Marcy enjoys helping people start and build their own businesses.
“Having raised a daughter in this beautiful Valley, I am fully aware of the activities and needs of local children. I know that with our increased population and the current economic situation, there are needs, beyond health matters, with which we can assist. I believe the “Wishes for Children Foundation” fulfills many of the needs in our local area, and I am honored to join with this organization to accomplish the goals of “serving the children”.
