Stephanie Simmons

My name is Stephanie Simmons; I am 31 years old, a proud new mother and a wife to an amazing husband.  You can say I am a native of the Temecula Valley, because I moved here in 1989 when I was 10 years old.  I graduated from Temecula Valley High school in 1997.  In high school I was part of the track and soccer teams, which hold such great memories I’ll treasure forever.  As an adult I still enjoy playing soccer and have recently joined an indoor soccer league with some of my old high school team mates.  I enjoy being outdoors, helping others (especially kids, animals and the elderly) and going to church.  My husband and I have been married for a year and a half and thank God for all of his blessings.  Our lives would truly be nothing without our wonderful savior.

I’ve seen many, many changes since 1989 and I am proud to have grown up in such a great community.  However, becoming part of the Wishes for Children foundation has been the best thing to come out of living in Temecula.  This foundation stands for everything that I believe in.  Having our son has given me an even bigger heart for Wishes for Children.  I’ve always enjoyed helping kids, but becoming a mom puts such a new found desire in my heart.  I am so thankful for this organization and I look forward to a great 2010 and I pray that I’ll be able to serve on the board for many years to come.
